VPS offers the business class stretched SUV "ARGO" based on Mercedes-Benz 500/ AMG G63 AMG W463  +620mm XXL for escort and bodyguard services.

The stretching size is +620mm after B-pillars (on rear doors) and C-pillars (on luggage compartment):

Version 1: +620mm after B-pillars (on rear doors which could be sliding doors) and C-pillars (on luggage compartment;

Version 2: +620mm after B-pillars (on rear doors which could be swing doors) and C-pillars (on luggage compartment.

The custom made  side sliding doors are availbale only for unarmored version!!!. The custom made rear swing panel doors are availbale for both armored

and unarmored versions.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

ESCORT AND BODYGUARD VEHICLE

The extended wheelbase SUV «ARGO» based on Mercedes-Benz G500 or AMG G63 W463 2022 YP XXL is +620mm longer than the standard model and offers a high level of individuality and exclusivity for a different purposes. The rear doors and luggage compartment are extended!

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:

STANDARD EQUIPMENT / EXTERIOR

REAR SLIDING DOORS/ RUNNING BOARDS (INCLUDED)

• The car is fitted by the specially developed and engineered sliding rear doors on the left and on the right with an internal guide and locking device when opening. The sliding rear doors on the left and on the right with an internal guide and locking device when opening. Special door systems provide sufficient visibility and mobility for maintenance and security tasks - not available with VR9 armoring package!

• Guides on both sides are installed in the side steps with a non-slip surface made of stainless steel. The footboard width is 240mm and load capacity up to 250kg.

• Roof rails on both sides are installed above the front and rear sliding doors and act as handrails.

REAR DOOR/RUNNING STEP/BULL BAR (INCLUDED)

• The car is equipped with the specially developed two panel rear doors with two windows, which are fixed when opened. The back footboard with anti-slip surface is made of stainless steel. Two parking sensors are installed on it. The width is 240mm and the load capacity is up to 250kg. With the back the sides of the roof above the entrance area are fitted with a railing, which serves as a handrails.

• The car is equipped with a tubular painted steel bull bar.

• Rear panel doors instead of standart door in rear .

• Special sliding glass rear panel doors - open dawn – not available with VR9 armoring package!

• The additional handrails outside the car on the middle racks.

INTERNAL LAYOUT / EQUIPMENT / INTERIOR

The standard layout has similar seat configuration with 5 seats (2+3) or 4 seats (2+2), equpment and interior depending of the chosen model G500 or AMG G63 W463

Meanwhile the customer can order as the extra option the following internal layouts:

• special internal layout solution which allows to install and position individual seats with 6 seats (2+4) or 7 seats (2+5), depending on his needs.

• When assembled at the rate of 6 places (2+4), two individual rotating seats are installed in the second row and two individual fixed seats in the third row of the luggage compartment are located opposite to the movement.

• When assembled at the rate of 7 seats (2+5), two individual swivel seats are installed in the second row and one individual fixed seat in the middle behind them and two other fixed individual seats in the third row of the luggage compartment are opposed to movement (layout is shown below on the picture).

This allows the bodyguards seiting inside to respond quickly to possible threats around the perimeter of the car more quickly. Additional practical recommendations for security personnel facilitate safe actions inside and outside the car.

The individual swiveling seats on the left and right are equipped with head restraints and three-point seat belts, and two rear individual seats at the back are also equipped with head restraints and 3-point seat belts. Seat trim leather in black (standard). The spare wheel holder next to the left rear seat is covered with a black cover (standard). Installed 2 manual grip on the rear doors.

The custom made rear swing panel doors could be installed as the extra option as well as many other security and comfort option on request.
